Hello
My name is Luis Huezo. I am a biosystems engineer with experience in microbiology, fermentation process development, and system-level analysis of biological processes. I hold a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University, with research spanning yeast fermentation, microbial degradation, and techno-economic analysis of bioprocesses. My background includes industry bioprocess engineering and postdoctoral research in chemical and biological engineering at Penn State and NC State.

Facilities and Equipment
We have access to laboratory space at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR), including an Analytical Chemistry Lab and a Fermentation Lab equipped with bioreactors up to 10 L.
